Restricted Items Policy

Effective Date: November 2, 2026

To keep customers and vendors safe and within the law, sell.biz.pk strictly prohibits the listing and sale of the items below. This policy applies to all vendors and customers, and is part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

  • Vendors: you must not list, advertise, promote or sell any item covered by this policy, whether through product listings, CSV uploads, store pages, banners, campaigns or chat. This also applies to workers on your account.
  • Customers: you must not use sell.biz.pk to buy, request or arrange the sale of these items, or share links to them in chat or through Share & Earn.
  • It is the vendor’s responsibility to check that a product is legal to sell in Pakistan and legal to deliver to the cities the vendor sells in.

2. Prohibited Items

To keep our community safe and within the law, the following are strictly prohibited on sell.biz.pk:

A. Illegal and regulated goods

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, replicas and parts, and any item designed or intended to be used as a weapon.
  • Narcotics, drugs, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
  • Alcohol and intoxicating substances.
  • Counterfeit currency and bonds, and official or fake government documents, identity documents, certificates, licences and uniforms.
  • Stolen goods, and any items acquired illegally, including phones with a changed or blocked IMEI.
  • Smuggled goods, and items on which legally required duties have been avoided.
  • Items restricted or banned by the laws of Pakistan.

B. Hazardous and dangerous items

  • Chemicals and substances that pose a risk to health or safety.
  • Poisonous, toxic, radioactive or highly flammable materials, including petrol and gas cylinders.
  • Medical products that require a prescription, and medicines without the legally required approval.
  • Illegal pesticides and hazardous industrial chemicals.
  • Recalled or unsafe products, and expired food, cosmetics or health products.

C. Copyright and intellectual property violations

  • Fake or replica branded goods.
  • Pirated media, software, games and unlicensed digital content.
  • Items that infringe copyrights, patents or trademarks.

D. Human and animal trading

  • Human organs, body parts, and anything related to human trafficking.
  • Live animals, endangered species, exotic pets, products made from protected species, and any illegal animal trade.
  • Items or services related to animal cruelty.

E. Adult content and services

  • Pornographic material, adult toys and escort services.
  • Explicit sexual content and services.
  • Content that promotes exploitation or abuse, and anything that exploits or endangers children.

F. Gambling and illegal financial schemes

  • Lottery tickets, betting and gambling products or services.
  • Pyramid schemes, fake investment opportunities and fraudulent business models.
  • Money laundering services and financial fraud schemes.

G. Data, accounts and hacking tools

  • Personal data, customer lists, and bought or sold user accounts.
  • Hacking tools, malware, and devices made for secretly tracking or recording people.
  • Devices or services made to bypass security, SIM locks or IMEI blocks.

H. Other prohibited items

  • Hate speech, discriminatory content and extremist material.
  • Content or items that insult any religion or religious belief, or that are unlawful under the laws of Pakistan.
  • Any item that violates national or international law.

3. Items Requiring Prior Approval

The following may only be listed after we approve it in writing. Contact us before listing, and be ready to show any licence or approval the law requires:

  • Medical devices, health supplements and other health-related products that do not need a prescription.
  • Tobacco and vaping products, which must only be sold to adults and as the law allows.
  • Pesticides and agricultural chemicals allowed by law.
  • Financial, insurance and investment products or services.

4. If a Listing Breaks This Policy

  • We may remove or suspend the listing without notice, and cancel or stop related promotions.
  • We may warn the vendor. Vendors who break this policy seriously or repeatedly may have their store suspended or permanently closed.
  • Customer accounts that misuse the marketplace to arrange prohibited sales may also be suspended.
  • Subscription and promotion fees already paid are not refunded when content is removed for breaking this policy.
  • We may take legal action where required, and may report illegal activity and share relevant information with the authorities.

5. If You Received a Restricted Item

  • Do not use, resell or pass on an item that looks dangerous or illegal. Contact us straight away.
  • Your rights to a return, refund or replacement are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Reporting Violations

Please report any prohibited listing or suspicious activity from your reports page, or contact us using the details below if you do not have an account. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Disclaimer

This list is not exhaustive. We may remove any item we consider unsafe, unlawful or harmful to our community, even if it is not named here. Vendors remain responsible for their own products, and sell.biz.pk does not guarantee that every listing complies with this policy. See also our Listing Ad Policy and Terms & Conditions.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the Effective Date. If you continue to use our Services after a change, you accept the updated policy.
